I started noticing it happening more often just a random surge will driving and then today it was running ruff but it ran like that for 3 minutes before I shut it down. It started right up, then on the drive home from church it just surged like surge........surge...surge.......................suuurrrgggee.. I get home it runs and revs fine. The fuel filter has less then 200 miles on it. I'm still running the same mix that I've run all summer of wmo. The return lines are clean and dry, no leaks any where that I can find. The tank is 3/4 full. Is my IP going, I've noticed its not smoking as much as it used to. May need to change the filter again:dunno

Someone told me to check the tranny fluid. While im driving mine, it will rev up a few hundred rpms for a second and go back down to where i was. Now it only does it whne im using my rear tank.

I tried to chase down a problem like this forever changing IPs, lift pumps, fuel filters, turned out being tank algea plugging the pickup in the tank. It was even worse when I was running WMO, I assume because it was thicker and even harder to move through the plugged pickup.

You need a fuel pressure gauge You can plug a several strategic locations on the fuel system to chase this problem with out spending money on the wrong parts. The leave it hocked right after the fuel filter so next time You'll know when Your FF is bad.
