After disassembling my VE pump 12 valve, looks like it needs a new cam/tappets, pistons/rings and injectors rebuilt or replaced (I might have marine) , but my machinist will tell me more soon. Maybe a 12 cm waste-gated exhaust housing added to my existing H1C turbo, or a different turbo? Maybe replacing my 2.5" stock inter-cooler and piping.. I don't have enough room for a P-pump unless I replace the exhaust manifold and motor mounts etc, and not sure if a Waste-gate would fit. The last two idea's would require more work than I'm able to complete at this time due to a divorce, so only bolt on performance for right now.
Right now my list includes..
ARP head studs
Mcbee rebuild kit/MumauDiesel.com
Cummins head gasket
New towing cam/tappets.
The 12 cm waste-gated exhaust housing could be added later, so I'm more interested in internal engine part suggestions I should consider now before the rebuild. But fuel (VE pump) cold air or turbo suggestions are also appreciated. My money's getting hot in my pocket and I need to get moving.
