I want to remove the chrome plating from the grill on the jetta.
I've done a little searching. Seems reverse plating is the way to go.
    Anyone ever attempted this?

Some say just take it to a plating shop as it's usually really cheap to have it removed.

    Haven't moved forward on this.
I've seen people use oven cleaner. Might give that a shot eventually.
