I was just told that the best way to store a vehicle for a period of time is with the hood open. That way rodents wont use it for shelter......

Is this really a thing? I know someone with a brand new mustang sitting in the backyard with the hood up. It's been raining for two days straight now.

Id rather run a fire hose thru my run with water then leave a hood open unless I'm working on a rig in dry spot or have tarp I can throw over my hood is closed.

Hood off or open= headache n welcome mother nature

Yep, it must be an "original" idea from the owner. I guess I will see how many months of exposure it takes to kill a new 5.0.

    Poor guy.....

A guy in my neighborhood must have gotten the news and he took it one step further. He’s been driving around his Camry without a good for the last few weeks. But it is a Toyota so it’s probably fine.

I can't see the point of leaving the hood open, since they get inside cabs any ways.
