I'd be careful of that one, personally. New glow plugs. What type/brand? Electric fuel pump added to fuel system. Again, what brand, where was it installed, and why was it installed? Left hand under bed toolbox that's on the passenger's side? By "pre heat system located to right hand side of engine compartment", I assume that he's talking about the glow plug controller that's barely visible right behind the passenger's side battery. Hopefully the wiring was redone correctly and not with a bunch of solderless connectors. It's probably going to need a new radiator soon. These are what I noticed at a glance and I'd want some answers before spending that much money on it. Just in case anyone's interested.

Oh I completely agree, he is dreaming at $5k. It just looks like it would be a great work truck once it’s sorted. That is if you could buy it cheap!! 4x is almost a must around here.

My van, which has more weight over the rear tires (I think) and only 2 of them, plus an over active LSD cause I didn’t ad the friction modifier. Could not move uphill at my house in the last snow storm. Just a few inches. So I had to go downhill instead and park it until things melt.

In complete confession, besides the 6 cars I own now, I had another 11 purchased (scrap prices) and hidden. Was creating a forever parts yard for what I wanted to drive.

Well buddy sold everything and said goodbye to CO and moved to Fallon NV. I had to confess to the wife. I vowed to myself to NEVER to buy another thing without her consent. Breaking a loved ones trust and seeing the disappointment was a wake up call.

On a side note, I could literally die a happy old grouch living in a junkyard!! But I’m happily married so This grouch must compromise!!
