My truck has the dana 44hd ttb, with a 4 inch lift, and it was having problems also like yours. Things I found bad were

The bolts that hold the lift brackets to the frame were loose

The bushings where the arms attach in the middle were wore out

The steering box was wore out

The front shackle bushings hidden up inside the front of the frame were bad.

did you replace all of those? and did it fix it?

how does that work with the duelley axel? be nice to take my calipers which are new and swap. why the difference between king pins and ball joints? strengths and weakness

To "Unbolt" the dually hub/adapter.

Take off the caliper
then the locking hub(knob for 4wd)
then wheel bearing nuts
then hub and rotor

That is it.

then do the same to your axle and install it on the dana 60 in place of the dually hub

king pin in undoutably stronger, but unless you are running bigger than a 35" tire, it is overkill.

The ball joints on a Dana 60 are the SAME ball joints used on a TTB D50. But they dont have to move around as much in a D60 and are not side loaded like in a TTB axle so they last MUCH longer

They come in various lift heights from 2.5-8" lift.
Precision Metal Fab is in the process of making a BOLT IN RSK for the OBS trucks to use SD springs. I have a prototype at my house right now. Should be in by the end of the day
