It's time to put Rosie up for sale. I wish I could keep her, but it's time for her to find a new home with a good owner. Asking for $2500 or best reasonable offer. I wanted to list it here first before putting it up on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace since this forum has helped me out a lot over the course the last 3 years.

1989 Ford F250
Clean title in hand (and in name), 137,200 miles, 2WD E4OD, 3.55 rear end. I've owned it for the last 3 years and it's been a good truck overall and still has plenty of life left in it.

Click on the pictures to see them larger. (I've cleaned up the interior after these pictures were taken)

Things I've done to it while I've owned it:

The Good!
  • Replaced Glow Plugs (Motorcraft ZD9)
  • Glow Plug Relay
  • Return line kit
  • Fuel Filter
  • Positive Battery Cable Assembly
  • New Batteries (less than 6 months old)
  • Water Pump
  • Coolant Flush with Fleet Charge
  • New Heater Core
  • New Coolant Hoses
  • Cowl Seal
  • Starter and Starter Solenoid
  • New V-Belts
  • New Vacuum Pump
  • New Block Heater cord
  • New Tires with low miles on them
  • Rear Axle Seals, Brake Shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, drums
  • New Ignition Actuator Rod
  • Transmission rebuilt locally by a reputable shop with billet torque converter and upgraded parts
  • New FILP sensor (properly adjusted)
  • New MLPS sensor (updated version)
  • E4OD solenoid connector
  • TECA and TECA relay socket

The Bad...
  • Fuel gauge not working on rear tank - front tank reading is off by 1/4
  • Fuel pickup tubes need to be replaced (runs out of diesel at 1/4 tank)
  • A/C could use a recharge
  • Bench seat has some minor tearing (see pictures)
  • Paint is chipping and fading in places (previous owner did the Maaco special on it unfortunately)
  • Windshield has a 7" crack forming from the bottom
I do have all the parts to convert it to use a 3G alternator (alternator, harness, charging cable, mega fuse and holder) that I'll throw in for an extra $50 if anybody is interested.

The things I look for are always for sale in states far enough away it isn't practical for me. In Pennsylvania you would have sold that 5 times already. Nice truck!

Still up for sale if anybody is interested. I'd much rather deal with selling it on here verses all the idiots and tire kickers from Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.
