Out with the old, in with the new.
The grease gun that I have here at the house decided to not work. I'm sure that they'll be ok with the factory grease for 15 miles so I can grab my other grease gun. I was planning to change the oil and grease the rest of the truck this weekend anyway.

Unloaded my old bathroom (concrete and tile) at the dump. 1200lbs. My truck after unloading and with about 24gal of fuel only weighed 6340lbs, thought it was heavier than that.

Think I'm only about 5500 lbs unloaded which surprised me as well! looking super clean though

Edit: just happen to be renting a trailer and the uhaul website has this truck curbweight as 5150lb

My 86 single cab weighs in at 5620 Lbs, 38 Gal rear tank and
19 Gal front and a T-19 trans.

12pilgrim that sure is a purdy Bull Nose, Must have had a
pampered prior life. Same color combo as the 87 4 x 4 I
picked up last spring for $2K and 130K miles. But had a hard
prior life.

Turbo swapping in some fun weather near Lake Tahoe. Experimenting with extra exhaust wrap I have hanging around for the up and down pipe.

I've never tried to use one. It would be great, BUT not in the flat lands. I knew a guy who tried one about 20 years ago. He really liked it until the first strong wind. I don't remember how far he said that it went, but there wasn't anything salvageable after that.

Rebuilt the power steering pump. It's the original ford one so I didn't want to lose it

word of caution. Beware of what they named the springs and slippers. That's what is in the green dish.

This was my weeks project
Fast fill mod
New sending unit
Added a drain and access hole in bed. I still need to get some riv nuts to bolt it down, before yall say anything the bed floor is already trashed dented, had an awful gooseneck plate in it, and camper. So there’s where already plenty of holes

And of course batteries finally died so I decided to get group 31’s didn’t have a picture after the new ends but man what’s not to love 2000 ccas combined
And top studs
Hopefully I never have to touch the fuel tank again but if I need to it will be a breeze

Put the 4" exhaust with a sweet muzzle suppressor tip I was gifted. Have to get some better adjustable hangers to finish it right

Never seen an exhaust tip like that, does it make a difference?

Nice work! My bed came with an access hole like that. I've long since lost the plug, doh. There are many times I wish I had it, but at least when I know I'm going for a dump run/wood hauling/whatever I lay a sheet of plywood down first and then it's no issue. I think group 31's will be my next set, they are cheaper than 65's now by quite a bit, last time I checked.
