would the headders help at all with a turbo? if not a stock setup a remote mount?? hmmm... wonder if i can squeeze em on the scout.

It looks like the headers might be longer than the factory manifolds so I doubt it would work with a kit. You would have increased velocity which would be perfect for a remote mount though

IIRC this has been brought up once before, and i believe the verdict was you would have to wrap them wit header wrap in order to keep the heat in the exhaust. To be honest i cant remember why you would have to though, hopefully someone can clarify?

If such a thing existed. A friend of mine claims that back in the day his buddy had an aftermarket intake MANIFOLD on his 7.3IDI. Swears up and down mind you, and said it ran just about as strong as anything he's seen as N/A diesels go. Anyone heard of one?

Pretty sure I see the word MANIFOLD in upper case in the original post. No matter. Would be nice if an aftermarket one existed, but I've never seen one.
