Each individual truck's different, but I think my truck (also an F-250 extended cab 4x4) is about 7K fully loaded (big toolbox filled to the gills, full bunkers, etc.)

But, I need to get an actual weight someday...I have a weight slip, but it was with a trailer attached and I don't know what the trailer weighed (it was pretty light, though)...I took a guesstimate, and that's where I got the 7K number from...

Seems we all are a tad different in weight LOL

My std cab '96 PSD w/8'bed, both tanks full shows 7780 lbs when I weigh in at the sled pulls.

'Course that is with my tools in the cap.....

My '90 IDI std cab actually hauled MORE weight around than what I carry in the '96 ......for about 3 years she weighed just over 9k  ....carried alot more tools then :D and still ran 700+ mi a week ;Sweet

When I bought my truck, standard cab 87 with normal bed etc. it weighed in at 6340 with the front take full, rear tank leaked. I could not believe it weighed that much until I tried to drive accross the wet yard and had to put it in 4X4 as the tires that were on it were shot. It really leaves a mark on a wet yard. Has improved drastically with duals and new tires, but I am sure it weighs much more now as well.

3001 kgs which should work out to just over 6,600 lbs.
Give or take a couple of hundred pounds.
The 1,100 lb counterweight on the front axle
added a bit though. I never did weigh it when
it was a s/b auto.

my 93 f-250 when I first got it weighed 6600lbs it was bare bones then now that I added extra fuel tank tool box bumper hitch and stuff its probably 7200 now my 96 weighs in at 8700 now full of fuel but other wise empty it seems to run that the PSD's are heavier

My 91 f350 ext. cab dually weighed 8800 last time I crossed the scales at the scrap yard coming out, weighed 14,800 going in, could hardly feel it other than the steep hills, love them duals, stupid 10000 gvw is a joke.

My Calif registration shows the unladen weight. It's 6,100 lbs. Don't know about any other state's registrations.

I'm not sure how much that will help...what with all the extra plastic that Chebby put on their "trucks" :rotflmao ;Poke :rotflmao

My registration shows 5560lbs...all things considering, I would guess that either someone overly optimistically guessed that number, or the truck was completely unloaded to get that weight, or someone pulled that number out of a booklet/brochure and accidentally got the weight for a g@$$er truck.

I'm not saying anything...what the DMV doesn't know won't hurt me

The original Tx weight slip for my 86 showed 5200lbs, but I figure that's an empty weight. I have a 2WD, X-cab, long bed, C6. I'm sure by the time Iput fuel in both tanks, and throw some people and tools in it, she's heavier than that by a long shot.
