Those ^^^^^^ appear to be teh stock Alcoas; still my favorite wheel for these trucks.

And these are all aluminum. AFAIK, "mags" is just a figure of speech, referring to the visual resemblance to magnesium racing wheels. I don't think you'd want actual magnesium rims if you ever blew a tire.....

Why? IMHO it looks much better when you paint the hubs gloss black.

Speaking of which, I gotta touch up mine before the snow flies...........

Perhaps so, but I have the caps already and it gives it a finished look, not that I really care, but I have the caps.

I don't really remember what snow is like, there was a trace amount the last time I was in Cloudcroft but it was slush and only in the shadows.

Hold up... You saying mine are stock?? I always thought the stickers had the bigger holes??? And I thought the stockers were steel? The one that used to be my spare (before it was stolen) was kicked by a horse and cracked. Exactly why I like steel wheels.

Alcoa rims were stock on the PSDs. I honestly don't know if they were available on the first OBS IDIs. But since yours is a 1994, and they introduced the PSD in 1994.5, that may be why your truck has Alcoas. Or perhaps they were swapped on by some PO. Do you see four notches in the hub holes? That's the other giveaway that their Ford-spec Alcoas; the hub / lug caps snapped on into those notches.

If there are no notches, then they may be the generic Alcoas which were identical to the Ford-spec Alcoas except for the notches.

Off the top of my head I don't think their are any notches...
