Finally had the camera handy when I was fillin' the ol truck up with some WMO. Mine is a somewhat portable setup I built. I say somewhat because it's pretty freakin' heavy once full of oil. I have a 55 gallon drum in my garage that I store the WMO in. I pump it out of the barrel and into a 5 gallon container, then pump it from the 5 gallon container into the front tank of the truck, then run down to the fuel station and match the amount of oil I just put in. So I am filtering it twice.
The oil first goes through a strainer, then the pump, then passes an old pressure gauge (so I can tell when the filters are clogging up), then a 10 micron filter (standard NAPA 4006 fuel filter), and then through a 5 micron house filter from the local hardware store. I mounted the whole works to a plywood box complete with on/off switch, built in extension cord, and even built a fancy racin' handle for it.

Just getting started with my WMO filtering setup.

I got 2 buckets, cut a hole in the bottom of one (it was cracked) and them put 3 wood pieces, for "legs", held to the white bucket with screws to hold it upright.

Them i purchased 3 sock filters from McMaster-Carr, a 10 micron, a 5 micron and a 1 micron and put it into the white bucket.

I have about $30 in to the above setup.

Started filtering, got about 4 gallons filtered, but stopped when i saw some water in the oil as i was pouring.

Now im waiting on the Goldenrod Filter with Water Block filter to come so i can figure out a way to put the oil (through a pump) through the filter before it goes into the tank.

Cheapest goldenrod filter with waterblock filter costs $43.99 to my doorstep

Here's mine. Pabiodiesel centrifuge system. As my wall suggests, if you have a super sucker, never pump too much air pressure in the tank to get the oil out and into the barrel. Lol.

Overall this system works exceptionally well. Im confident my fuel is cleaner than what I can buy at the pump I do plan on adding in a water separator inline after the pump. I somehow sucked up a tiny piece of papere that clogged the shaft of the centrifuge tonight. It was a royal pita to get out. Pre filter should be good for solving these types of issues.
