Rusted Out Air Cleaner

Need to know if there is a substitution for the air cleaner on my stock 1987 6.9 NA IDI. Like-is there a gas version that works? I was replacing the fuel return lines and decided to wire brush off some rust off the top of the air cleaner and paint it while I had it off. When I got done it looked like Swiss cheese. The rust didn’t look that bad but it was. I’ve checked the wrecking yards and Craigslist and nothing. I’m open to alternative suggestions, donations, free turbo kits, etc. ;-)

There is one listed on ebay. It claims it fits almost all of the motors for our year trucks. The description lists the compatibility.

You can make a regular chrome one work.
