Rough week....with a good deal at the end.

After a long week I had a stroke of good luck yesterday, a buddy called with news of the P-pumped 12V that could be had for $500....So I jumped on it...Turns out it was rebuilt 2yrs ago - it came out of a school bus so there isn't many miles on it....No front accessories, just the longblock with the manifold/turbo and injection pump system.....I hope to get it home this week.....Been a rough week around here - my 4yr daughter has pnuemonia and one of my 1yr old twins is in the hospital...He's not eating/sleeping well and he is losing weight because of it...The doctors wanted him admitted to run tests on him and watch his eating/sleeping habits....He's in good spirits but the little frigger won't eat like he should.

nice score on the cummins.....sorry to hear about the kids; that can really take a toll. I remember when my year old daughter ended up in the hospital for a few days....never felt so helpless; best wishes man

how did everything go last night? We were at the hospital this morning ourselves. I got to work and Vicki called me all upset...she blacked out for about 10 minutes while walking from the kitchen to the livingroom. I think I broke a landspeed record driving from the scalehouse to home!

I slept down there last night, he woke up 6 times through the night...He has a cold too so he's coughing and the snot is pouring out of him....Hopefully it won't take long to find out what the issue is....They are leaning toward allergies to Milk Proteins possibly or Gluten....He had some bloodwork this morning, ultrasounds and ex-ray's....All came back clear.

I think I got that same damn cold! Turns out Vicki only had a kidney infection.....but the pills were something else! $62 for 14 pills! That's like $4.50 per dose! lol How long are they keeping your young fella there?

Not sure on how long - I told them I wasn't taking him home until it's figured out....We have had way too many sleepless nights with him awake and fussing....He's lost 3+lbs since he was 9 months old....You can feel it when you pick up Maggie, she's a porker.

If your son ends up being gluten intolerant feel free to message me. We have a close friend that is and we've learned to cook a lot of things for her.

Will do, thanks. Sor far he hasn't gained weight or lost any so it's not all bad. His cold/flu is going away so he is eating a little better but the little frigger isn't sleeping better........They are going to weigh him again next week and go from there.
