I'd like to help you understand.. Why any one wants to swap to an electric I don’t understand at all
I strongly agree. When you run WMO though, it's hard to beat a mechanical pump. I know guys say the Holley red and black will pump the WMO, but I just don't want to gamble on it. And like @chillman88 said, the mechanical pump really does appear to do a good job at keeping up with demand. Both mechanical and electric pumps break at some point.......pick yer poison!I'd like to help you understand.
Replacement mechanical pumps are (generally) c**p, these days.
I ran a Holley red on the rv in my sig for 3 years, before i sold the RV.How long have you had the Holley ? Some say the Holley has had problems but now a days who doesn’t. Forgot to mention I’ve been gathering parts and pieces for a year and a bank’s sidewinder is ready to go on when the engine is done
They might, but I don't know how well. My Holley blue doesn't like straight dino diesel when it's cold and thicker. Since straight WMO is thicker as well, I'll bet that they REALLY won't like that stuff when it's cold outside.I know guys say the Holley red and black will pump the WMO, but I just don't want to gamble on it.
I'm in NW Florida, and it does get cold here.....it snowed 7-8" a month ago, lol, that's not common obviously. But even this morning it's 40F on my porch and my truck wasn't too happy about it. Anyway, gimme a mechanical pump!Don’t know wmo but have made bio. Either way cold weather is not a factor down here. We combat heat like you fellas combat cold, and now coming into rainy season….anyway I like the rotary pump idea and put the thing where you can get to it easy. And it’s not rubbing on the cam making drag and tiny metallic pieces
WMO is made out of dinosaurs too, lol.straight dino diesel
