This is not busting your balls, but there is a point here.
You were in a hurry and needed your truck going. You felt you had to cut a corner and get what was available quickly, and it bit you in the backside. Your truck ended up being down longer.
I have done it too, and learned my lesson. I now keep an extra dipaco return line kit.....for just such a reason.
