Recommendations for a buffer?

this is what I use, a friend gave it too me. excuse the attachment on it, it takes a typical buffing wheel pad.
you will want a variable speed.
do you plan on wet sanding it? if you got the supplies I would buff it for you at the rally.

If you plan on doing other vehicles in the future, I would opt for the rupes or porter cable.
Some people seem to like the HF one.

Porter cable has a nice 4” polisher for about $130. Replacement foam pads, terry cloth covers, and wool pads are easily found for these.

Others use the DeWalt 7 inch grinder with speed select and soft start.
