I can go buy a hi-point, will it perform like a Glock, colt, s&w? Looks the same-"ish"

Yes, and if you have any issue whatsoever after 20 years of ownership, will S&W, Colt, or Glock rebuild your firearm in it's entirety? ;Poke

Edit: I will say, I won't EDC any autoloader.....

I stay in town mostly
In that case, I wouldn't have a problem running them. They should stay together better than at highway speeds. I'd run them if I mostly stayed in town. If one should happen to let go, at least it won't be at higher speeds.

Well technically..... But I think that was directed towards the auto pistols? In which case, I can't say for sure. But.. Well, nevermind. Would need it's own thread. Lol
