I need to raise my cab to get a turbo exhaust housing out.
Wondering how far I can raise it without disconnecting a lot of stuff.
For instance if I do not disconnect brake lines how far can I raise it without breakage???
Also, do I have to take the cab bolts all the way out or just loosen them???
Thanks all.

Well I'm not familiar with this technique myself. I'd be remiss if I didn't ask if the front clip is attached or not? If so then you'll have a bit of work as you'll have to remove the to rad support mount bolts, and two forward cab bolts or it won't go up nicely at all.

You may...may have to disconnect steering shaft depending on how far...rad hoses and fan shroud too.

Without more info I cannot really speak to it with a clear vision

Your right Al about the front clip its still attached.
Is it easier to loosen front clip bolts or the bolts that hold the front fenders to the cab.??

I don't know what way you want to go..but leaving clip on can be done but sketchy!!!

there are a total of 10 bolts to under to make that clip so you can pry the fenders carefully wider than cab to allow it to lift up.

See cab removal thread...I"m sure you can figure out what bolts to remove and what to leave...

Brake lines should be OK clutch MC may get dicy!

wiring should be ok, disconnect throttle maybe too..

just need undo steering shaft and two bolts holding forward portion of cab to frame, under park brake assembly and on pass side under heater core.

That ought to be about right I don't know for certain...never done it this way ROFL...

Thanks again Al.
The problem is the Y pipe where the exhaust enters that side of the turbo, it will not come out of the housing.
Think I need a couple inches or 4-5 centimeters, of lift on the cab.
