Quick question - tank swap

Will a long bed standard cab 38 gallon tank work in a crew cab short bed truck?

Great! Any special mods needed to make it fit or is it just a bolt in?

The 38 gallon tank seems to have the filler opening in the middle of the tank. My short bed crew cab has the filler towards the rear of the tank.

I can get the tank for $75 and I don't mind doing some modification work as long as it's not to involved.

I probably should have added, my crew cab is a 2001 and the parts truck is either a 2000 or 2001.
