Do y'all think a 3'' body lift and a little fender trimming will be enough to fit these on here?
hahahahhahahha wow really your joking right
uuhh yea, there going on the truck behind the red one.
Yeah, I think you might as well invest in a new truck. You would get like 2mpg. Plus those tires cost a pretty penny I am sure, you are paying for the name on the side . Just invest in some of these.
I....freakin love that truck.
Any more pics of that beast.
check the 6.9/7.3L idi threads. Search for IDI into a military truck. Pictures of all my rigs are in there.
I was referring to the original poster with his monster truck.
Ur trucks are pretty bad ass too tho
Op: how much lift on the truck? Looks pretty sweet.
A random ? to the OP. What color grey is your pickup? Thinking of painting my truck once it all done and im interested in the greys. Thanks!
Simp5782- I had a set of 1600x20 goodyear at's, those tires are almost twice the weight of the bogger's. The boggers are costly but they pull great in the mud. As for mpg, that's why I have a different vehicle for my dd.
Ididriver- Thank's, the truck has 20 inches of lift.
Alienturtle- I'll get the paint code for you.
What kind of gears in the axles?
Ididriver- The gears are 5;13 with detroit lockers in both ends.
Alienturtle- The truck was already painted when I got it, I called the old owner to ask about the color but he couldnt remember what it was called. I think gun metal gray would be close.
Here's a couple of pic's with the 54's on.
ha yea, I hear a snap crackle book in the future. My brother just picked up some faceloader deuce axles for his 15.5/80R20s Michelin G20s on his yukon.Hopefully the 6.17s will turn em fast enough.
Ive got a set of 5 ton rockwells that would look good under that ford in with locked 8.88s
I used to run the street and mud bog's with 44 boggers, 44 tsl's, and 44 gumbo's all on 1/2 ton axles and broke 1 axle when I dumped the clutch on the street. I've heard it said the 1/2 ton's wont hold up but they did fine and I dont doubt that the 1 ton's will hold up fine also. Anyway it's just a coon huntin truck.
BTW- I dont need any more 5 ton's I just sold my old school monster truck "Southern Storm" along with an extra set of 5 ton's with it. Thank's
