I really hope someone on here knows the answer to this... It is really frustrating me. I have googled it for hours and can't figure it out. I have a 1991 2500 4x4 Suburban with factory 6.2. I am installing a 6.5 and replacing mounts while it is out. I have received the wrong motor mounts twice now, which is a huge PITA for me as I live outside of town. The parts guys have been zero help. They all say the sbc, bbc, 6.2 and 6.5 use the SAME mounts from like 73-99. THEY DO NOT. They might be similar but they are NOT the same. Yes, they will mount to the engine side but the frame side is different, and some even have a different offset/angle to the center bolt hole.
This is the 1st mount I was given:
https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/...aBBhUVbDvbARC5hVhvuWRbMbmTlTy5jQqeGo&usqp=CAE

They said it is the only mount for my application and was used from 73-99. My frame side is flat, it does not have the step to it. I tried different years, models, engines until I found this one which I thought was the one I needed :
https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/...VFLTvdlNoVYKWNvO3t4k-wD3ZpRyd2X9VQUA&usqp=CAE

This was listed as being for an early 80's 6.2l . Weird, I thought they were " All the same" ..... Still not the correct one. Mine looks very similar but it is a tad bit longer and the bottom of the mount on the frame side bolts to the frame with a single bolt through the middle hole..

So, yes they all fit the engine side, but the frame sides are much different.

Can someone PLEASE help me figure this out so I can get the correct mounts?

THANKS!

Yes , I am pretty sure those ^ are them. The top of the mount has two bolts while the bottom part has a single bolt through the center hole. Unfortunately trying to find these locally is a complete shot in the dark because the parts store's computers are completely screwed up . Reading through the interweb there is so much debate about whether or not they are all the same. One link had pictures comparing each mount and it was totally obvious they were slightly different, wish I saved that link. I will take some pictures in a few minutes to show what I mean. Thanks guys.

I just spent 40 minutes typing out a reply on my phone , detailed with pictures and right as I hit submit my phone died. I'm trying really hard to not throw it off the mountain I live on .. I don't know how the pictures will post now, they keep rotating .. The picture with all three.. The black mount is the new one that was listed as being for an early 80's 6.2l. The one in the middle is from a late 80's 350. The one next to it is from my 91 suburban 6.2l. The other black mount is the first one they gave me , claiming it was the ONLY one used on sb,bb and 6.2/6.5's. They are all slightly different. The 350 mount and new black mount are close , but the center hole ( block side ) is still slightly off. Probably not enough to make a difference, but they are slightly different. My 6.2 mount is very much different than all of the others. It is taller, longer, has different mounts and is overall a larger mount. They all bolt to the block the same but the frame sides are obviously different.

Also , even though I'm pretty sure the mounts you linked above are the same as mine , notice how it says for 92-2000? And mine is a 91...

Glad you got it figured out. Parts guys are only as good as the computers they use and we all know those computers are not correct. I had same issues with a pick up tube for a 318 I was building. I needed one for a 1998 dodge dakota 4x4. I got the wrong one 3 times. We finally just did a search through pictures on there computer and it was under a 1992 318 2 wheel drive sport dakota. No idea how they got hat mixed up.
