Anyone experience problems in not using a Motorcraft relay. B&D is one looking at.

Go for a White Rodgers relay, had issues with all the smaller stock sized ones.

Any of the Ford diesel oriented parts sites. Riffraff diesel, I think diesel orings has them, maybe 1023.

While you're at it, wire in an LED from the hot side of the relay into the cab so you can see GP operation, then add a switch breaking the ground wire going to the relay to save you glow plug system from operating when it's not needed.

Change the rely and trucks starts like it should. Didn't do the White Rodgers , didn't have time to wait and need the truck for work. Tore the old one apart and could see that it was bad with not doubt. Will have to order the White one for down the road.
