Needing to clean up some mangled threads in 1 glow plug hole. Wanting to confirm thread pitch before I attempt to make sure I have it 100% right before I make it worse.

Im getting conflicting info about the threads being 10x1.0 vs 10x1.25

Any insight?

Motorcraft ZD9 is M10 x 1.0

Im sure you already know this but I wouldn't chase a thread while the heads are on the motor. The chips will fall into the pre combustion chamber and damage the pistons / valves.

Here is the BERU GV823 Glow plug for FORD USA F-250, F-350, ECONOLINE

Thanks. ZD9 is an idi plug however. The ZD11's in a stroke, are different. The threads of an idi plug will bind when trying to turn them into a powerstroke head (just as to test thread fitment)
