Seems to depend on the oil. My truck seemed to love mobil1 full synthetic 5w30 with 1 quart of stp additive out of my dads subaru forester but a touch less powerful on 15w40 cenex synthetic blend out of a ford tractor. Just depends on the oil and vehicle i supposse. Ive heard royal purple synthetic gear lube just wont burn where others say they have had it burn fine. Im still figuring out how things are working in my own vehicle before i decide how much of anything i can put in the tank.

jonathan,
I've noticed a kerosene like smell from the pipe. I have a little less power but that could be from the need for a new IP, got one from the Uhaul.com sale just waiting for warmer weather.

WMO-more BTU's than diesel, MPG/power goes up.

thats been my experiance to a point. if it is to cold or the mix is to thick to burn the power goes back down. its a balancing act, but a forgiving one for the most part.
