I'm getting ready to install a plow on my F250 in the next week or two. An old school mix of Fisher head gear/cable controlled valve with a 7.5ft Diamond blade. (painting it up real pretty - CAT yellow and CAT black:D) Anyone here got any pic's of what they did to mount there control valve and joystick? Placement under the hood and dash is what I'm looking for just to save me some time. I have a portable electric power pack and a Fisher belt driven pump here but I'm undecided yet a to which I'm going to use....I could remove the A/C pump and stick the belt driven pump right there for a quick install.;Sweet

I used to toss the joystick ( I had five plows working at a time)- mount the valve on the left firewall - and use steel rods run through holes CAREFULLY drilled in the dash just above the emergency brake. They sometimes got a littlt squeeky but a drop of light oil cured that. The drivers loved the rods compared to the joystick.I myself preferred them also'less maintaince'with a little thought easy to install, better and faster control of the plow. Plus I could always sell the joysticke and the cable assys.
