Drove to Allentown, PA today and picked up my 94 today.. I had to mess with the battery terminals again, to get it fired up. The PO knew nothing about the importance of good connections. He'd been trying for months, with no success.. Took me a whole 20 minutes, to have her running... Here's part of the problem.. Before I got there, it had a wing nut on it and all the terminals were corroded.. What do you think??

When I went to put everything together on that terminal, I heard a relay click. It happened, when I connected the 4g wire up that goes to the fender mounted solenoid. It wasn't the solenoid itself that clicked, it was this:

I haven't yet checked to see exactly what it is, but it's not factory...

The truck also has automatic hubs on it. I plan to swap them for manual lockers... Anybody wanna trade? They do work...

Anyway... Here's a few pics of the truck...

The ash tray is broken.. I'm looking for one to replace it with, if anyone might have a spare...

That PIAA box is a relay box for aftermarket lights. Does she have fog/spot lamps mounted on the front? Is there an aftermarket switch in the cab?

I've also seen those relay boxes used to control the headlamps to take the load off the headlamp switch. Might be worth keeping if thats the case.

There's no aftermarket lights on it anymore, but I may upgrade the wiring and put some nice lights on it. There are also a couple of wires coming off the fuse panel. I'll have to trace them out and see where they go.

That brake controller is a Tekonsha, but an old one. I'm going to put my P3 in it.

Welcome to the Dark Side Gary.....

Thanks Russ!

I wonder how the power of this thing compares to a turbo IDI... With my NA 93, I have to wait for the power to come on... With this 94, it gets up and goes!

The front tank on this thing has a leak, so I made the 185 mile trip home on the rear only.. Probably would have done a lot better, had I kept my foot out of that turbo!

Already checking into that Mel... It'll be ready, when the time comes....

I figured this would be the easiest, to swap an IDI into! ;Sweet
