Howdy y'all, I haven't been on here for years. Probably 5. I was wondering, I just had a 93 F-350 given to me with the 7.3. I have a 97 F-250 that needs a front clip and leaf springs, I would change axles also if it will all work??? The 93 has cancer issues on the spring hangers.

Front clip should be a direct fit. 93 and 97 are the same style.

By your wording I'm assuming they're both 4wd. F250 springs are actually STIFFER because of the way the TTB front end works. However, I believe the front axle and springs from the F350 should bolt right up to the F250. You will most likely need the driveshaft from the F350 as well. I believe they have different joints at the transfer case.

Both diesel, my 97 is an ex cab the 93 is a reg cab. I will have a drive shaft made if needed. Anybody wanna buy a 7.3 Idi? 284,000 miles roughly. Transmission is for sale too.

Yeah but being broke kinda throws a wrench in that lol!

The cab size isn't going to affect the front driveline. If they both have the same tranny then just keep the driveshaft with the axle it came with.

You realize that the grand prize with an acquisition like this is the axle itself, right? So why not just swap the whole axle/springs assembly? And you def. want the F350 driveshaft, since it has the double cardan joint.

So the front driveshaft will be too long. Might be worth getting it shortened. Or perhaps the DC joint could be put on your F250 front shaft. You'd have to investigate those options. But your blowing a major opportunity if you don't swap that Dana 60 in.
