So now in addition to my 92 7.3 N/A F250 extended cab longbed 4x4, i am the proud owner of a 1986 f250 extended cab longbed 2wd w/a banks turbo.

I bought it honestly planning on taking the banks kit off and throwing it on mine maybe, the wheels are nice, and the seats are extremely comfortable. I figured i could take what I wanted and scrap/sell/whatever the rest. Turns out I got a little bit more then I bargained for.

Truck originally had a 6.9 idi motor, guy claimed it now has a custom built 7.3 in it, but with no receipts that really means nothing

Truck has a heavy built c6 transmission in it, aparently it has a gearvendors overdrive unit, rear airbag spring helpers w/onboard compressor, tons of gauges, shoddy wiring
everywhere.

Going to have to move parts fast as I live in an HOA until the thing is small enough to fit in the garage (bed off, maybe chop the frame, idk)

Anyways here are some pics, and if you want anything you see in the pictures a lot of it will probably end up for sale on here, at least stuff that is worth shipping.

Not sure what thats for, self defense?

Lots of other random stuff on this thing too, seems the owner before the previous owner put a lot of money into a truck that really isnt worth anything.

Truck clicks but wont start, so Ill get on that pretty soon so I can fire it up and drive it around make sure everything works.

Still not sure if I will put turbo in mine, would be cool but kind of worried it will ruin me not having to work on the motor at all so far.

All in all pretty cool that so many random parts were stuck on this thing, someone somewhere along the line really loved this truck!

Box on the front bumper might be for weights you would use if you were using the truck in a tractor pull. My guess.

Like said, the tabs are for a slide in camper, I think the bar across the front on the bed is too. I'm gonna go ahead and say that the box was a mount for a generator.....someone had the setup with that truck.

Yes, those are HappyJack camper tie-downs. The piece going across the bed, at the front of the bed, should tie them together, making them more stable in some way. HappyJack added that feature when the sheet metal in the beds got so thin and would no longer sufficiently hold against the stress from the camper when it wanted to move. There should also be a couple buttons back by the rear end, either in the outside bed area, or on the bumper. They're also part of the HappyJack setup.

The unit by all the wiring with a tube on it is a brake controller, Kelsey-Hays IIRC, tube is teed into master cylinder.

If you have a 4.10 truck, that would make a nice addition to keep the rpms down.

Oops! Yeah, that box up front probably is for a generator, not tractor weights. My bad.

If you don't have plans for that alternator belt idler, I may be interested.
