part out 83 ford f-250 4x4 reg cab long bed manual

bought a clean for year 83 f-250 4x4 reg cab long bed.. I bought only for the 2 motors and 4sp and transfer case. so i'm selling everything else.
I'll get pics later on when i get a chance.

fenders $35 each side

hood $50

grill and far front assembly $80 it's really good condition

cab $180 it's clean

doors $65 each no rust

bed has dent which i can pop out and light flake rust on fender wells and no tail lights $100

rear axle i'll update with door code later guess 10.25 ls $120

front dana 44 axle with shocks leaf springs and drive shafts front and rear $300

fuel tanks $25 for both

front bumper $25

rear glass $15

i'll have to recheck front glass before i add a price

8 lug steel rims and tires $175

i'll do package deals and help out any way i can

84 6.9 complete 144k was told i wouldn't go by the for sure with used but does appear to be in good shape it's been inside a heated shop and i have a newly repainted oil pan for it and extra ip $350

4sp 4x4 whole set up including pedal and master cylinder $275

Is the 84 models the lower compression?

could you shoot me some pics of that bed the price might make it right. i have a 93 so up to 96 or 97 if its 250 or 350 im not positive what year it started early mid 80s

Some early '84's have the lower-compression engine, but you're really not losing much...you're going from 21.5 (on later engines) to 20.7 (on the '83 and early '84 "A" engines). You're not going to be able to shove all that much more air into an early engine...you MIGHT get away with 1 psi extra (or a bit more with studs), but IMHO it's not even remotely worth trying to seek out an early engine; it's not like you're going down to 17:1 and being able to shove 25+ psi in there. Also, keep in mind that there are differences to the piston, precup, exhaust valve, and the head itself that will make sourcing replacement parts more difficult.

I have an "A" engine, but if/when it goes, I figure on putting in a 7.3l and, if $$ allows, resleeving it to take 6.9l pistons (to minimize the risk of cavitation)...

So far mine has held 15PSI everyday with just headbolts, its the low compression engine, and if i park on a hill i have to put it in 4lo cause the engine wont hold itself
