Went digging through a parts catalog, smallest comp wheel that can be found would be in this turbo and another. The comp housing cant be found for this one...

hx35 48/83mm comp

So next up is this one but is not as small as wanted...

hx35 49.96/78 comp

A comp housing can be found for this wheel...

hx35 comp housing for 49.96/78

Even dug around for one off a hx30 that I could take to someone to have machined, but this is the only genuine holset housing with the hx35 anti surge and v-band output that I could find...

So looks like this the only option I have for a comp wheel change, going from the 54/78mm 7+7 to this 50/78mm 6+6.

I found reason to get the 7+7 over 6+6 wheel. pictographs are a bit easyer to understand. That person above was making things a little bit more confusing, so went looking to the hx40 line for maps that would show what happens going from 7 to 8 count. What I see in these two examples, is that the heart of the cell moves to lower flow and gets more intense. So there is reason to not step to a 6 count, it would counter step down in size and not help where I want it to go. That 48/83mm 8+8 comp wheel I found, would had been what I wanted but no billet or matching housing found.

So went digging and found this 50/78mm 7+7 thats cheaper, and list as a matching aplication to that compresor housing. So thats what I ordered to try out on the turbos...
