I,ve read up on the WVO site and their have been several idis' on there that have been converted. They have a general grafic that you can use if you want to build your own kit for your in-truck install kit. Course you'll have to do some modding, or you can call them and asks whats up.

So they got a kit that seems simple to make that you use to heat and filter the WVO, and they got a kit that one can also build and install in ones truck.

Its not rocket science so I thinks one could acomplish this, and You dont have to mess with the dangers and time consuming tasks of makeing BIO

So , in my mind I think that this would be a better first step at conversion than anything else.

go here see for yourselfvezzzzzzzzz http://www.greasecar.com

Mel,
I understand the demands on your time. I, too, am interested in bio. If helps, I would be willing to give a Saturday or two to helping build/construct one if you decide to go that route. I have read a lot of good stuff about the appleseed processor, and its derivitives. They seem to go together quickly.
Sorry, I can't do "turnkey".

Well running WVO in the Bronco just isn't practicle, as there isn't enough real estate for two tanks. These are all good comments. Obviously nobody really has come up with a "Mr. Fusion Home Reactor" that you can just pour in the WVO and wait for bio to come out. That's what I'm looking for.

DeepRoots , What, if anything, did you have to do to your engine to run B100? I have an 89 IDI and would love to make my own setup. I live in central Fl. So it's usually pretty hot here, but sometimes, it gets down to uper 20's for a brief period.

Pretty much you don't do anything to anything on the vehicle to change from Dino to Bio_Only problems with bio are,
(1)-it is a great solvent and will eat natural rubber lines but the lines on our rigs from the factory were bio safe
(2)-best damn fuel system cleaner known to man.You might have to change a couple fuel filters if your tank and lines have any sludge built up from years of crappy fuel use.

Swonkaholic, I have had to replace the fuel supply lines from the rear tank with rubber fuel hose. Does BIO react with this material?

Look at the line for the DOT spec printed on it. Something like 30R7 if I remember right. The 7 is the important digit, the old stuff that will break down ended with a 6.

my take on bio and wvo

find a source for some good fuel line.
buy an extra fuel filter or two.

keep an eye on the fuel lines... they don't deteriorate overnight, its pretty obvious when they are starting to fail

Most people ditch Dino all together and run Bio in both tanks since you can start and stop on Bio without a problem if good base oil is used.Bio is by all counts Full diesel fuel just with Plant oils used instead of petroleum.Best thing to do when you have a batch of Bio is stick it in the freezer and check it ever few minutes to see what temperature it Gells. Some oils will make bio that gells as high as 50degrees while some Gell below 30 degrees but most will be on the low side.

There is one of them out there but i seen mixed feelings on it, and it is very pricey? but if it was that easy big oil will be all over it!! from the test batches i've made it was easy enough for me, but when i get the processor done and try that i'll let you know. i have done some test with power service and WVO and dino mixes, and left out over night on one of our coldest nights ( low 20's) it was still liquid in the morning some i'm sold on power service anti-gel, and check this out.....
Cold flow Test
