Mel,

I only have one tank and I run WVO in the goat.... It can be done... so don't let not having two tanks stop you from at least cutting your fuel costs in half...

Seems to me you are going to have to decide if your time is more valuable than your fuel bill!

Mel,
Correct me if I am wrong ( as if that needs to be said!),
From my reading on making bio, process control is evrything. You filter the WVA, and heat it, add some lye, heat stir, settle, wash. It seems all these processes could be controlled by someone with a basic knowledge of IC and 555 timers.
I do not see how you can avoid the human input--someone has to determine how much lye and methanol need to be added. If you can get over than much involvement, the resr should be easy to control with a 555 and some solenoids to operate valves and turn on the pump.
Maybe thats more than you want.
If I built all that and did all the processing, I's probably want $3 a gallon, too.

there is a pretty crewcab IDI on ebay with that unit.

unfortunatly looking at the unit it appears to just be a bunch of filters.
how is it dewatering? seems fishy to me.... maybe the fuel it produces could run in a deuce and a half, but I dunno bout a 7.3

basically, I need to move into Mel's basement.

need to change my sig
