Sharp looking! I’m seeing a lot more of the Cummins Nissans on the road in my travels.

They are a lot of truck for the money. I was originally interested in an F150 diesel but Ford has lost their way recently.

To even order the diesel in an F150 you have to option it up so high it's too much money. And I live in one of the most expensive places to buy a truck it seems. None of the Big 3 giving out any deals around here.

Nissan had 10k below sticker listed. Had to at least check it out. Glad I did as it's a really nicely equipped truck and I like the Cummins V8 and Aisin combo.

Fords out my way are sitting up around 60K depending on options for an F150. Fully loaded, I have seen them as high as 71k. That was without the diesel.

Yep. My experience too. And zero diesels on any lot within 100 miles of me so no test drives. Picked this one up for 47k w 13 miles on it. Not unhappy at all.

Do they offer the Titan/Cummins with a manual transmission in 4WD or just auto?

No it does not. I wouldn't have minded a manual but to get a Diesel manual you have to get a Ram with Cummins combo. Not aware of any others available at the moment.

If FCA hadn't squashed all their light diesels I may have opted to get a Wrangler with the Diesel and Manual. But they scrapped the whole project in March according to an announcement made by FCA.

Either way I'm happy with the Nissan.

You're right. I checked about 4 months ago it was an option on the build and price. Gone now. Well that sucks.

Congrats man, these new trucks are a really nice place to spend a lot of time in,especially for someone who’s on the road a lot, so what’s the plan for your idi now?

Now I can do repairs to the IDI without being concerned I may need a truck to do whatever in the next few days.

I've been trying to pull the dash for a while but everytime I get the gauge cluster out I put it back in so I can go do a dump run, hardware store etc.

Trying to get the interior done before the rally in Gatlinburg.

FYI these trucks won't run without the fuel tank selector switch plugged in. Not that I found that out the hard way or something.

I had my first official "Drive" yesterday evening. I topped off the tank, was at 3/4, and proceeded to drive home from Karate. About 45 miles from where I filled up. The OBS said I averaged 22.1 on the drive back which is about 15 miles of 55 speed limit 2 lane, 4 miles of 35-45 in town with lights and then 26 miles of 55-60 speed limit divided 4 lane. I drive about 5-7 over typically. I'll have to check it vs real numbers but if that's anywhere close I am not disappointed at all. Should get a little better as the engine breaks in.

I wish they would put that thing in the NV van, I'd buy one. NV vans are fugly but it would at least make it bearable LOL
