Trying to diagnose this on site here at King of Hammers. Runs ok but gets hot and shuts down after 20 minutes. It’s just short of 4400 hours and it’s on a race trailer that literally always sees lots of dust, so it might just be time for a rebuild. Hoping somebody knows this brand/vintage and lends some insight as we had to resort to the HF Predator (aka: “The Neighbor Hater”)

Thanks

I assume it is air cooled?

It looks like mild temps in JV. I'd start by opening the cover and blowing out all the fins with compressed air.

Oil level correct and air cleaner clean?
Maybe point a box fan at it?

Any fault codes? I don't know but I'm not sure if they actually have thermal shut down protection...it may be getting hot but is vapor locking.

Fuel filter ok? Can you reposition the fuel line routing?

Try some 5-30 synthetic oil?

Maybe fuel pump going out? we had one that would start and run then stop. We were on the road and couldnt wait for parts so we got a cheap electric pump and rerouted the fuel line till we got it home to get the proper pump. Ours was gas though.
