Oil leak Into the valley pan 6.9 turbo

So I just finished up my full rebuild. The truck has always had a good leak Into the valley pan that only happens when it’s running or after I shut it off, and it will only leak for 5 minutes but it’s a pretty good leak. I thought it was leaking from the turbo but I just want to be sure. I plan on sending my turbo out to Russ to get it rebuilt but before i Spend the money I just want to make sure I know it’s the turbo. I’m not sure what else it could be considering I resealed everything during the rebuild

You will need to clean up as much of the oil as you can and see where it's coming from. Use an inspection mirror and a light.

Of course if you have a flexible oil feed line, you can remove the turbo, place the oil feed line into the oil drain and run your engine. The will eliminate the turbo as a possible source of the oil leakage.

I have heard of the turbo drain grommet can either crack or disappear completely, and that will leave a lot of oil in the valley. I bet that grommet will be cheaper than a turbo rebuild.
