I had one end of hose connected from fuel filter to epump and the other end to a diesel gas can when I was diagnosing the no start issue. I used it to prime the fuel filter and when it started I pulled the leads off the positive and negative terminals thus shutting the pump off and truck still ran. Hoses were disconnected from the fuel tanks also. Is it from the gas can being so close that the suction sucked fuel from it to make it keep running? I'd have to check my lines once again to see if that's causing my problem. If it is then it must be the fuel leaking down the dirty oily parts of the truck making it looking like oil????

I think I found where the leak is coming from. Not 100% sure but it had fresh oil coming from it.

So the timing gear cover? I really doubt that is leaking the oil that you showed in the first picture. The only oil that would leak there would be just what slings off of the timing gear. Also, I don't really see how it would get down on the side of the engine. You sure your oil pan isn't leaking?
