before I am inundated with responses telling me this subject has been beat to death let me clarify my subject.
I want to know if I can simply disconnect the ebpv rod and leave it like that. I live in south Louisiana so I don’t need the valve but don’t have time to remove the turbo to fool with the delete. (I would just remove the valve but broke one of the bolts so turbo removal would be necessary to do the valve delete).

So, can I just remove them Linkage and hold the valve open by some means?

yeah ive just used a wire to keep it open. if you unplug the actuator and leave the rod on that should hold it open also.

I would leave the rod, otherwise you could get oil leaking around the rod.
Just unplug it. Can still wire it in the open position, just to be sure.

Gotcha. I ended up getting the rod back on but it’s good to know that I can just keep it open without issue until I get a no ebpv pedestal
