No more boost

I got a 94 7.3 factory turbo 5 spd
I got truck a month ago and it had alot of fuel leaks and the wastegate was disconnected.
All the leaks are fixed and I changed oil,trans fluid,gear oil,thermostat and coolent. And I cleaned cdr valve

I noticed the truck doesn't boost like it used to. When I first got the truck it would accelerate good and fast and I would feel a powerband almost at about 1500 rpms.

Now it is sluggish.the problem happened after I fixed the fuel leaks.
What might it be?I can hear turbo spool up and everything and loud air noise

Do you have a boost gauge? Egt gauge? What fuel leaks did you have that you fixed? Did you bump a connection loose? You’re the best person to know what happened or what is wrong. No one else is in Front of your truck.

Yes boost gauge only goes up to like 3 pounds.
Leaks from the return lines

I was doing something and teuck was on, and shop rag got sucked into turbo but I pulled it out really quick.it did chew up the rag and turbo stopped spinning for a minute

I think you probably answered the question yourself right here. I am going to go out on a limb and say this is your problem.
