Wonder if the common rail pump would be adaptable to the ford/international v8s...?

I like the way it looks. The front and rear look like a F150 while the side looks like a dodge ram. I am interested in seeing how they do out in the world. If everything works well and they don't fall apart I would consider buying one.

they're coming to market the truck GM and Ford won't sell here.....I don't see the problem. Everywhere else in the world there is a 1/2ton diesel for sale except the United States. Why? the American automakers are addicted to the margins made on the 3/4 and 1 ton markets.
It has a Nissan name, Cummins diesel power, Asin-Warner trans and Dana axles. I don't see a downside here. In fact, I hope they do well so the hand of the american automakers are forced to counter with a offering too.

Dodge came out with there 1/2 ton diesel. Not sure who makes the motor and what size it was?
One of the local supply shop owners bought one and clams to be getting 28 mpg it a 4x4.

Exactly! Ford and GM know that if they offer a good diesel in a 1/2 ton truck (which they already know there is a market for) it will impact the sales of 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, because consumers are forced to buy the heavier trucks now if they want a diesel. I also hope GM and Ford lose a little market share over this and are forced to put forward their own offerings.
