Gotcha. That's a good place to start.
May grab or make a mechanics stethoscope to help pinpoint the location.

When you had the valve covers off, did you check the rockers and stuff?
Lay a straight edge across the injectors?

Inside? The thang is it started but barley like on 2 cylinders and died.it ran perfect before that.and its not the riffraff gaskets it is there plugs though but I orderd the wrong gaskets but everything else right and I sent the one back but I had opend the other so they wouldn't take it so anyway I had new dormans at the house and I figured I'd put them on till I bought the others just so I could drive it alittle till I pull the trans.idk what happend but I wasn't happy lol.

I remember reading about a guy who had problems with Dormans, but only when he tightened down the valve cover. Seems that when he torqued it down, something would short out. Soon as he removed the valve cover again to troubleshoot it, it would work fine. Drove him crazy 'til he stumbled on the cause.

The problem with the dormans is the damn wires are to long.if I do take it off and it runs I guess I'll drive with no valve covers just kiddin I ain't that stuiped. But I can't see what in the hell would have pinched I made sure to shove the wires outta the way so if that works im ordering the ones from riffraff.maybe this time I won't buy 6.0 ones.in my defense I seached valve cover gasket in the search bar and there wasn't a date and it didn't click to me till I got them that that's what I ordered

Well if the wires were that long, maybe they got pinched, and that's why it quit running.
If somethings worth doing, doing it right. Might as well upgrade to the single plug SD style.
