So I had a fuel gauge in my 94 turbo 7.3 IDI that wasn’t working so I had a shop pull both tanks, drain and clean and install new units in each tank,
now neither one of my tanks reads properly and the needles seem to float between empty and 3/4 full !
sheesh what could be the problem ?
shouldn’t the shop fix it for no extra charge unless it is the fuel gauge regulator?

Did they supply the parts? If so they should make it right. If you bought unless they are real nice it will more then likely be your dime to fix sad to say.
