I'm swapping a 93 turbo IDI into and 91 IDI auto pickup. Everything's in and bolted together but when I went to connect the wiring harnesses, they're different connectors. On the 93 the big mass of wires comes in on the driver side and passenger side on the 91.

I'm at a loss as to what I should do. Do I have to just chase wires and splice onto the old 91 connectors? That sounds like a whole lot of no fun. Any insight by guys better than I? Does anyone know where to find a diagram of the pin layout?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Um, you're just swapping the engine, right? So just use all the '91 wiring. Whatever wiring is on the '93 engine is for a completely different generation of TRUCK, and since you're keeping the TRUCK an '87-'91 generation, you should keep that generation's wiring. All the '91 connectors should connect to the senders, GPs, etc. on the '93 engine.

I did the same thing. 94 IDIT in an 87 F350.
I took both harnesses apart, and used both!
It's really simple!
Since the GPC on the 93 is on the pass side valve cover,
I spliced all the glow plug wiring into the 87 harness. Other than that, it's pretty much the same minus the oil pressure line.

By splice I mean soldered and shrink wrapped
