No I didn't just join for this question but thanks for being a dick. I have had plenty of 6.9 and 7.3 idi and also a few 6.2 and 6.5 and i have work on diesels trucks and equipment for a long time. I just happened to find the kit at my work on a truck and took it off and was asking cause I figured someone eles knew where to find it and would help. Thanks for the help.

He wasn't being a dick. He was just saying that its pretty irritating to the brains on this forum when people join just to ask a question without doing a search.... If you've had plenty then you probably would know who to ask, where to go, and what to buy.

Ask for the "old guy"at banks tech...
he is the ONLY guy who was around when the turbo was in production.

oh and you aint seen me being a dick yet.
That chitt you brought to the tabe (callin out "dick") yea ok noob...
You are the all being worshipful master mechanic!
Take the attitude over to pirate 4x4 back 5 years ago.

I still stand on my first post.
It aint a big issue for one to fabricate an automotive gasket.
    Carry on!

    Edit
Now if you're really looking for "dickhead" pm me, and we can take it outside....bahaha
    Chill man

I wasn't trying to to be a dick either I just thought the way you came off was rude. That's is not why I joined the fourm. I joined cause I have a idi and have owned a few and in no way was I saying I know everything if I did I wouldn't be asking for you guys to help. The point was I have owned alot of 6.9 and 7.3 and work on alot of them but not one I have had the first gen banks turbo kit. It was on a truck at my wrecking yard and I took it off so I can put it on my 85 F250. And I have looked for a gasket for it and haven't found anything yet so I thought I would ask you guys.

    1. Call banks and order one.

    2. Buy gasket material and make your own.
