Yep just put a new one in there is looked kinda bad so I went ahead with that. I got some bypass lines and hooked them up and long behold that FSV must have been sucking air. It's runs like new so I ordered one from Ford for 500
should have it in the morning.mikeboggess

I have a '91 F250,7.3 that had the same problem. in addition to air in the lines there is a wiring harness that lays on the right front fender, the plastic plugs had completely disintegrated on the bottom side exposing the electrical connections, had that repaired and have not had a problem since.
