I'm re-reorgonizing my carport to do the 6.9........maybe......i get wishy-washy before I start stuff like this, I'm liable to change back to the 7.3 and save the 6.9 for the "engine on deck" as it were. But anyway, I'm going to pull the pistons out of the 6.9 and stare at stuff and see if I have an epiphany or something. The weather is just miserable for engine building in a carport.the turbo block I just opened up is completely surface rusted in the cylinders from the extreme humidity. We aren't getting cold fronts pushing through yet to dry the air. They're stalling up above us somewhere and with the warm air from the Gulf it just makes cloudy humid uncomfortableness. It may as well be raining in my carport it's so humid in there. All that being said, to say, my plan is to make my final decision, buy everything I need for the engine, have everything clean and ready, and slam it out when we get a week of dry air. Viva la oil burners!!!
