Check inside of the fuel filter housing itself. They are known to corrode/pit and start leaking. The one on my 97 has a healthy layer of JBweld along the bottom that has held for 5 years now.

IMO I would just replace/rebuild everything related to the fuel system in the valley (hoses, pump, housing) and be done with it for a while at least.
That's the way I'm leaning at this time. I'm holding off until I really get a good look at it but I'll probably do that.
Actually, I'm just waiting to determine if I need to order a fuel pump as well.
I will, at some point, convert to am electrical pump, but not at this time.

So, we got the tie rod replaced but haven't gotten an alignment because there's now only one place in town doing alignments and you need an appointment. I think we got it pretty close, though.
Dried up the fuel in the valley and tried finding the source. I do know it's not the fuel drain valve, the top fuel pump lines, or anything coming from the fuel bowl. It didn't seem any fuel was coming from the fuel bowl or anything in front of the fuel pump. My guess is it could be the bottom line coming from the fuel pump or the fuel pump itself. The fuel seemed to be concentrated on the back of the valley and was filling up rather quickly.
