i normally get 15 or 16 highway and city combined, have went as high as 21-22 staying below 60 on the highway, never really checked the mileage loaded.

I have 4:10's, I was getting about 14-15mpg. Then i did my ram air set up, pumped my tires up(down like 50 psi lol) new air filter, and i get about 20 going about 55 on ave, and i got 18.5 going 70 on the highway. i think 31" tires. I put diesel kleen in it, and i get about 22-23 on 55. and its a 5-speed

I meant to run the trip on the highway, one way with out diesel kleen(got the 18.5), and the other way with it. GOing back with the diesel kleen additive, i got less, however i left my hubs locked in, so i think that is why. lol i failed

I heard turning up the fuel some will help out, because it makes your engine have to work not as hard. Any truth to this?

If I go easy on the truck I can get about 20 MPG.....1993 IDI NA, E4OD, 4x4 with 3.55's and 265/75R16's.....weighs in at about 7400 pounds. I turned the pump up 4 flats with a modded air intake and seen 1 or 2 MPG gain, but I can't keep my foot outta it! I LOVE my black smoke, but it gets me about 8 MPG.
