motor mount replacement?

I replaced my engine mounts. Yeah, it sucked but wasn't impossible. The second one I ended up having the wrong mount, i tried to put it on and it just wasn't fitting at all, so i put them side by side and was like... crappp! So had to search around and find the proper one. Truck is a 92 but i apparently needed the 91 mount instead.

if there not ripped, i wouldnt mess with it, they last along time.

I did it on my old 92 f350. Greasy yucky day, looking back on it, total waste of time and money.

IMO, new engine mounts should only be thought of if...

A) they are torn and NEED replaced.

B) when you have the engine out and you want a piece of mind.

every engine ive messed with, granted ive only delt with 4, but they have all looked good, and not needed to be messed with.
