So how do we make the distinction between "attacking" and asking for proof to back up your assertions? Is there a smilie that we could come up with?

Personally, I've seen damn few attacks on here; mostly just folks who are excited to see something different and asking good hard questions (that SHOULD be asked) so they can fully understand it.

You wanna see "attacking"? Go over to PSN for about 5 minutes.

Don't worry guys, I'm here LOL

EZ, when are we going to see your mug at a rally again? Hope to see you and your rig this summer buddy. By the way, I really just want a big helping of the bread pudding you make at the potluck every rally.:D

You are spot on ocnorb, and I have two words as my description: F_ck PSN.

This is a great forum, I learned a long time ago if you do enough of anything, there's gonna be a small level of acceptable drama. Last year the company I work for sold roughly 13 billion dollars worth of stuff. I occasionally get called to look at something that's genuinely "wrong", like a fitting that has no threads, or something labeled wrong, etc. My response is always the same: I genuinely apologize, thank them for their continued business, and explain that "if you make enough stuff, some of it is going to be wrong."

It's how you respond/remedy a situation that defines the individual, and by and large this is an outstanding group of people. I respect the work that NMB2 has done, and as Muhammed Ali so eloquently said "It ain't braggin if you do it", but as much as I respect his work, I am in complete agreement with the moderators for bouncing those guys out of here. It's too bad those guys can't play nicer as they do some nice work.

I know, observation & comment wasn't related to that, twas related to a diff comment.

Cuz im a psd guy? I started my diesel addiction with an idi.was working on idis in the 7th grade.I dont post here cuz I dont have one anymore plus the attitudes that again are coming out in this thread.I usually just stick to reading and chuckling over the things you guys argue about.its kinda like dealing with my landlord.cuz he has every ase certification from the 80s, he knows everything.and if its not in his books it cant be done or its not the problem even after proving him wrong.

The nmb2 nonsense would've never gone as far as it did if the attitudes stayed out of it.even on the other site.you guys were running the guy down cuz his temp gauge didn't work in the video he made.who cares that the truck was running, driving and sounded pretty good, yall were more interested in a nonfunctional gauge.

Nah it's because your original post was all about how you don't post on this section anymore because it's just "so wrong how this group is" (summarizing)

I was merely commenting on the sheer irony. I'm not looking for a fight, just a general comment one can take or leave and it's all the same to me.

Sorry if id like to see this site go back to the way it was when it came to life.when everybody got along, arguements were kept friendly and the word banned wasn't in the sites vocabulary.I was part of making this site grow and its a shame to see it going where its going.

The site feels almost exactly the same to me as when I joined, not at the beggining but definatly a ways ago.....

Unlike most forums going the way of autoforums or whatever it is they are all members of.

dukedrummer89

He put a cummins in the truck when the IDI failed, he then parted the truck out.

He now has a 96 F150 Eddie Bauer with a Cummins in it;Sweet.

I believe he is also working on a cummins conversion in a 99-04 Superduty w a 5.4

he is in the marketplace every now and again

Well besides this thread being in the wrong place and falling way off course. Since I've been here I've never read a thread where people said something was not going to work. The typical response for things that have not been tried yet are that 90% of us use these trucks day in and day out for our living and cant risk blowing ours up, or two that it would require a lot of fab work and money. Most of us own these trucks because they are cheap and simple. Again though, I've never seen anyone just shoot down an idea, just a ton of questions and experienced input.
